I spent 15 years as a deputy sheriff with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, working my way up to Lieutenant before I made the jump to real estate full time. People sometimes ask what law enforcement has to do with selling houses. Turns out, a lot. I learned how to stay calm when things get complicated, how to have hard conversations without flinching, and how to protect people who trusted me to have their back. I still do that job — I just carry a listing agreement instead of a badge now.
Here's the thing about real estate: most of it isn't complicated, it's just uncomfortable. Telling a seller their price is too high. Telling a buyer they're about to overpay. Telling someone the market data doesn't support what they were hoping to hear. I'd rather be the guy who tells you the truth up front than the guy who tells you what you want to hear and lets you find out the hard way. I've heard way worse than "no" — I can handle it, and so can you.
I've lived in the Greater Nashville area for close to three decades — grew up here, graduated from Hendersonville High School, and I've watched this market grow into what it is today. Whether you're buying your first home or selling one you've lived in for twenty years, I'm not here to sell you anything. I'm here to ask good questions, give you real answers, and let you make your own call — no pressure, no hype, no handcuffs.
I've been ranked in the top 1% of agents nationwide and a top 1% Zillow agent three years running, but honestly, the stat I care more about is whether you'd send me your family and friends when it's over.
Outside of work, I'm losing at board games to my wife, getting outsmarted by my daughter, and trying to teach my son the difference between a putter and a driver.
